Jacuzzi Installation Guide
Checklist for floor load, electrical, plumbing, service access and safety in jacuzzi installation. Prepared by the Kuntbay Technical Team.
Pre-installation planning
Jacuzzi installation is not just placing the product; floor structure, electrical safety, water pressure, drain slope and service access must be planned together. Kuntbay Jacuzzi models are manufactured at our Mersin Toroslar factory; installation consulting is handled with our technical team before ordering.
Installation should not begin until dimensions, capacity and location (indoor, terrace, garden) are confirmed.
Floor and load capacity
- A filled jacuzzi can weigh from several hundred kg to over a ton depending on the model; floor load calculation is mandatory.
- For upper-floor installations, elevator and corridor passage dimensions must be checked.
- Recessed installations must leave a service panel and maintenance clearance.
- Outdoor setups require non-slip flooring, wind/cover planning and UV resistance.
Electrical and plumbing requirements
| Component | Technical note | Check |
|---|---|---|
| Motor / pump | Manufacturer-recommended HP and circuit load | Dedicated line + RCD |
| Heater | Power (kW) and thermal protection | Correct cable size + fuse |
| Water inlet | Pressure and filter | Stop valve + flexible connection |
| Drain | Slope and capacity | Overflow / backflow risk |
| Earthing | Wet room classification | Licensed electrician sign-off |
