Architectural Jacuzzi Planning Guide
Expert checklist for jacuzzi placement, sizing, plumbing niches, concealed installation and architectural integration in villa, hotel, spa and apartment projects.
Approach by project type
| Space | Priority | Recommended model type |
|---|---|---|
| Villa bathroom | Ergonomics + quiet operation | Recessed / built-in spa |
| Terrace / garden | UV + freeze + floor load | Outdoor spa jacuzzi |
| Hotel / boutique spa | Capacity + service access | 4–6 person spa |
| Baby spa | Hygiene + temperature control | Baby spa models |
Items to clarify at the drawing stage
- Net internal dimensions, cover allowance and maintenance clearance.
- Distance to electrical panel and wet-room classification.
- Hot/cold water points and concealed trap line.
- Floor finish (slip resistance, slope, waterproofing).
- Lighting, ventilation and jet noise planning.
Structural and logistics
Choosing a jacuzzi without calculating filled weight at project stage is risky. Structural engineer approval is recommended especially for timber decks, terraces and upper floors. Kuntbay site surveys also assess delivery route, elevator size and installation sequence.
Commissioning after delivery
- Water tightness test and electrical safety check.
- User training based on jet map.
- Maintenance contract / periodic service plan.
- Warranty documents and spare parts list handover.
